Ways of editing Audio

Top and Tailing audio: Mean to edit audio to stop and start in specific parts. Usually cutting the start or the end of original audio in order to shorten the audio file. For example, your audio is quiet/ silent at the start or end so you’d cut those out.

Equalising audio: Is editing audio in order for it to equal out in frequency. this can help bring lesser sounds to be more of the main sound within a piece of audio.

shelving filter: This is when you Equalise the higher or lower pitches of the audio. The lower or higher pitches are usually backgrounded sounds they are being boosted

peak filter: Similar to the shelving filter, this is when you equalise the “centre” or “main sounds” of the audio as to boost the audio or cut it to be the same as the background sounds.
