Content-Aware Tool

The content-aware scale tool is a tool on photoshop that blends pixels together as to give a natural look to a picture. This can be useful in removing objects in a picture and then making it look as if nothing was there in the first place.

The tool worked fairly well extending the image! It seems hardly noticeable unless to have a keen eye, you’ll notice the waves repeat where the picture as extended. But that’s mostly unnoticeable.

This tool would be useful when removing background objects that distract what is in the foreground. Example: A picture of a tree with a person in the background, which you can remove the person. Or in extending images to a specific height or width for its specific use as some images need to extend to be uploaded to websites.

Other tools that can help are tools such as the patch tool, clone stamp which can make for a similar result to the content-aware tool. Although, may take more time to perfect and complete.
