This animated gif of a dice spinning from left-to-right was made in Adobe Photoshop using the motion workspace and the brush tools. I drew the dice myself, though my frames don’t have a great understanding of Solid drawings; movement can still be made out.
You need to make sure that each frame in the timeline has its own layer or it won’t recognise the images as separate frames. Otherwise, The layers must be a full image for this to work and do not become cluttered so easily.
After that, adjust the layers timing so that they don’t overlap each other and have an equal amount of time to be viewed. The result should be that the layers make a sort of staircase shape down.
After that, export it as an animated gif and you should have a looping gif of the dice spinning.
