Graphical User Interface (GUI)

What is GUI?

GUI also know as graphical user interface refers to the commands for a computer written into buttons and icons. For example, the printer icon on websites or documents. When clicked the computer is being commanded to print the document, usually bringing up another GUI to look at the setting for the print, where it goes, colour and sizes.Screenshot 2019-11-18 at 12.44.21

The image above is another GUI of my Onedrive where I can access various files, opening and or editing them. It also features another search bar, folders and a small preview of the document that I’ve selected.Xman-main-interface.png

This image above is also a GUI, a very old one too when you look at the simple graphics. It’s been shrunken to a smaller size which you can tell by the name of the GUI being cut off by the buttons.
