Bouncy ball Animation

 

Here is a collage of my process in Maya when creating the animation. You can see the keyframes are marked with red lines and how I stretched and moved the ball to just it a more rubbery feeling when it bounces.

I found the graph editor very useful when smoothing out my animation so it doesn’t look choppy.  Although it was tricky to figure  out and rather fiddly, in the end it made my animation look a lot better than before.
